Not a substitute for care
Verafeel is a self-reflection tool, not a medical device, not therapy, and not a crisis service. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or monitor you. If you're in crisis or need professional support, please reach out to a real crisis line or licensed provider. The in-app crisis resources are a starting point, not a replacement.
You own what you write
You retain full ownership of your journal entries and any content you submit. By using Verafeel, you grant us only the limited right to store, process, and display that content back to you, for the sole purpose of operating the app for you. We don't acquire any ownership over your content, and we don't use it for anything beyond running the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it. You can change your password any time from Profile → Account.
Acceptable use
Use Verafeel for your own reflection. Don't try to access another user's data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or misuse the crisis-resource links for anything other than their intended purpose.
Availability
Verafeel runs on shared infrastructure we don't fully control (Supabase, hosting providers, and others). We can't promise the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, though we work to keep it that way.
No warranty
Verafeel is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verafeel and its founder(s) aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Since Verafeel is currently offered free of charge, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or a nominal amount, except where the law doesn't allow such a limit (for example, in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct).
Ending access
Either of us can stop at any time. You can delete your account in-app from Profile → Account, or ask us to; we may suspend or end access if required by law or in cases of misuse of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Verafeel is operated from. This section is being finalized during legal review.
If one part doesn't hold up
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about using Verafeel.
