Not a substitute for care

Verafeel is a self-reflection tool. It is not a medical device, not therapy, and not a crisis service, and it doesn't diagnose, treat, or monitor you. If you're in crisis or need professional support, contact a crisis line or a licensed professional. The in-app crisis resources are a starting point, not a replacement.

You own what you write

You keep full ownership of your journal entries and anything else you submit. You give us only the limited right to store, process, and show that content back to you, so the app can work. We don't acquire any ownership over it or use it for anything beyond running the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.

Acceptable use

Use Verafeel for your own reflection. Don't try to access another user's data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or misuse the crisis-resource links.

Free, Plus, and the beta

Verafeel is free to use, with an optional premium subscription called Plus. Verafeel is currently in beta: features may change, break, or be removed, and Plus features and premium stamps are free during the beta. If any of them become paid later, we will tell you first, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Availability

Verafeel runs on infrastructure we don't fully control. We don't promise the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, or that your data can never be lost. Export your entries regularly if they matter to you.

No warranty

Verafeel is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Your use is at your own risk

You use Verafeel entirely at your own risk, and you are responsible for any decisions you make based on anything in the app. Verafeel, its founder, and anyone involved in building or running it are not liable for any loss, damage, or claim of any kind arising from your use of the app or your inability to use it. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost data, and emotional distress. Verafeel is free to use, with an optional premium subscription (free during the beta), and no payment or compensation is owed to anyone for any damages.

Your responsibility to us

If you misuse Verafeel or break these terms and that leads to a claim, loss, or cost for Verafeel or its founder, you are responsible for it and agree to cover it.

Where the law says otherwise

Some countries don't allow certain liability to be excluded. Where that applies to you, the sections above apply as fully as your local law allows, and nothing here takes away rights you have under law that can't be waived.

Ending access

You can stop using Verafeel and delete your account at any time from the You tab. We may suspend or end access if required by law or if the service is misused.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Verafeel is operated from.

If one part doesn't hold up

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about using Verafeel.
